Chassis Frame Inspection & Measurement
An electronic measuring system is used to measure and check the dimensional correctness of motor vehicle chassis by measurements taken either with reference to data sheets or on a comparative basis.
Undercarriage Inspection
Check for rust and corrosion, broken or worn arm bushes, oil/fluid seepage/leakage, undercarriage mechanical items as well as illegal modification of exhaust system.
Rims, Tyres and Brake Rotor Inspection

Check for damaged, crack and missing nuts on rims.

Check tyre wear indicator to determine tyre worn.

Check scoring on brake rotor disc.

Engine Bay Inspection

Check for seepage/leakage of steering, brake and clutch fluid, engine, gearbox oil engine coolant, auxiliary belt etc.

Sign of touch-up/repair/removal of fender/front chassis leg/front panel. Testing of battery health, starting and charging system.

Check for fluid level on dipstick, indicator stated on the side of reservoir or in-car info screen.

Boot Inspection

Check for electric tailgate if available, amended sealant/silicon, worn weather seal, sign of touch-up/repair/removal, rust and corrosion, welding marks.

Bodyworks Inspection

Using tint meter to check for tint level and compliant to LTA requirement.

Check approval number plate and secured OPC seal.

Check for scratches, dents, sign of touch-up etc on car body.

Functional and conditional checks for electrical and mechanical parts such as lightings, horn, temperature of aircon, retractable wing mirrors to power windows.

Road testing to simulate different speed and road conditions to check on steering, brake, transmission and clutch, drive shaft and final drive, wheel bearing and tire noise, rigidity of bodywork and instrument panel, and exhaust noise.

The road test is conducted within the speed limits of the roads and designated route by the inspectors.
